Congratulations Cristina! Chicas staff member honored with Light a Fire Award

Portland Monthly celebrates the nonprofit organizations, volunteers, and staff that make Portland a better place to live, love, give, and grow with their annual Light a Fire awards.

We are thrilled to announce that  Cristina Delgado was honored with the 2016 Emerging Leader Award.

As Family Engagement Coordinator for our Chicas Youth Development program, Cristina shares her personal immigrant story to connect with Latina girls and their families and empower them to overcome barriers like gender, culture, and income disparity to become leaders in the community.
