Adelante Gratitude: $205,000 Awarded from Four Corporate Partners

During times of crisis like these, we are reminded to also take a step back and count our blessings. Although COVID-19 has brought a lot of uncertainty and fear to our world, it has also brought with it a strong sense of community and love for our fellow neighbors.

First Tech and Adelante Mujeres celebrates the opening of our Chicas Makerspace.

Adelante Mujeres has been blown away this month by the overwhelming support we’ve been receiving from our Corporate Partners. So, we would like to take this time to be grateful for those companies who have stepped up to this call of duty and reached out their hand to our organization.

We are especially grateful for those companies that so quickly responded to the crisis with Emergency Relief Funds to support organizations in need as well as those who took the time to adjust programming support to General Operations. This truly shows how deeply our partners understand the importance of this funding to maintain our organization as a whole.

Thank you to our leading supporters: Legacy Health, Wells Fargo Bank, First Tech Credit Union, and CareOregon for your true heart and philanthropy. In total, we have been awarded $205,000 to continue the important work of empowerment and education for Latina women and their families in Oregon.

Here is what our partners have to say:

“During times of uncertainty we know that strong partnerships like this are needed now, more than ever. First Tech is proud to partner with Adelante Mujeres, ensuring young Latina girls and their families have access to the resources they need to thrive, continue to learn and grow at home.”  - Meghan Valley, Community Engagement Program Manager, First Tech Federal Credit Union

“Wells Fargo recognizes the invaluable work of Adelante Mujeres and in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic we are honored to continue the support at such an important time. Culturally relevant access to technical assistance and small business support for women of color is a priority for our foundation and we are proud to partner and ensure more community members are able to receive the support they need at this time.” - Chabre Vickers, Vice President Community Development Officer, Wells Fargo
