Thanks To Our Supporters
Thank you to all of those who have been early supporters of our Capital Campaign! Because of you, we reached our Phase 1 goal and have purchased our new building.
With continued support from people like you, who believe in the power of education and empowerment, we will remodel our new home at 2030 Main Street in Forest Grove t include early childhood education classrooms, adult education spaces, a commercial kitchen, and much more!
"The Forest Grove family is deeply enriched by Adelante Mujeres' presence. Not only does it contribute to the community by enabling Latinos to develop their own businesses, but it also grows the future with its investment in Head Start early childhood education."
- Forest Grove Mayor Pete Truax
"I learned about the capital campaign early and was instantly inspired to jump in, in a big way, to really “move the dial” to support it! A home of their own! A long-term and well-timed capital investment! A springboard to grow their programs and offer families a consistent community gathering place. I am so excited to take this leap with the Adelante team and make it happen!"
- Wendy Weissman, Early Supporter of A Home for Adelante
"A home, ve’ee, casa, for Adelante Mujeres will not only be a much-deserved practical space for staff, families, and the community, but will also serve as a symbolic representation of the positive impact created by an interconnected and thoughtful community. This capital campaign is an opportunity to witness the accumulation of small actions into great change."
- Octaviano Merecias, Board Member & Supporter
"Through five years of involvement with Adelante Mujeres we have seen their amazing commitment to the community. Program participants develop local businesses, involve themselves in local schools and organizations, and progress the education and futures of their children. A dedicated space will maximize this ongoing process of development and benefit to the community."
